Indulge in a royal experience at the National Trust for Scotland-owned The Laird's Wing, an extension wing of the 16th century Brodie Castle. Flaunting fine art and antique furnishings, as well as being steeped in centuries of history, The Laird's Wing makes the perfect base to meet other artists in style. This outstanding three-story property is the former home of the late Ninian Brodie, and keeps its traditional character throughout with original flagstone flooring, impressive stairs, parquet tiles and antique décor. Find the spacious kitchen/diner, equipped with antique crockery on a large Welsh dresser, accompanied by a range of useful appliances and additional dining seating for seven. Also found on the ground floor is a convenient cloakroom, as well as access to your very own private courtyard, a tranquil space where you can get lost in a captivating novel as you enjoy the remarkable scenery.

Dining & Sitting Rooms

Make your way up to the first floor, home to the regal sitting room with plenty of seating, to enjoy a cup of tea with other guests, surrounded by antique paintings to admire. There is also a study/games room on this floor, where you can spend a quiet moment to yourself. Utilize the first floor cocktail kitchen, offering awe-inspiring views of the lush gardens and fitted with a breakfast area, this space offers true tranquillity. After a day of exploring the grounds, settle in for a relaxing evening, relaxing in one of the period bedrooms, which all benefit from pretty feature fireplaces, ample storage in antique dressers and various seating areas. Find a double and a twin on the first floor, while the second floor is home to two further doubles and three further twins. Prepare for the day in one of four bathrooms, two are on the on the first floor, one has a shower and the other has a soaking tub with hand shower. The second floor has two bathrooms as well, two with soaking tubs with hand held showers allowing you to choose from a soothing bath or brisk shower.

Our daily outings include transportation to TBD locations (whatever we all agree upon), and day and evening trips to pubs, a whisky distillery, and restaurants.

Take a scenic stroll along the castle grounds, indulging in peaceful walks throughout beautiful gardens, lovely lakes and throughout an adventurous playground filled with interactive sculptures that can bring out the child in any adult.
