Bring exciting depth and interest into your paintings.
Explore combining collaged materials, dry media and other mark making materials such as ink and water soluble graphite with painting mediums such as watercolor, gouache and acrylics. Choose to work from photographs, drawings, or your imagination or all three!
This mixed media workshop introduces artists into the wide realm of mixing materials to achieve an investigative and multilayered result, bringing fresh and dramatic possibilities to the art making process.
Learn how to layer transparent mediums on top of prior drawing marks, and how to draw into and on top of those layers. This workshop is sure to expand your knowledge of mixed media techniques and broaden your world of art making possibilities.
