This workshop is tailored to all skill levels and is designed for students using their preferred paint or drawing medium (oil, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, dry or mixed media). You can work from photos, a still life setup that will be provided for you, or your own sketches, ideas, or personal objects that you bring to class. Accomplish your own goals as you learn and improve strong composition, principles of design, color properties, and mark-making/brushwork techniques. Students will receive individual attention from the instructor during each meeting. Bring your supplies to the first class. There will be a short introductory discussion for beginning students prior to starting your painting adventure. Others just come and begin painting! This is a lively, enthusiastic class that will be fun and full of information.

On going critiques of student work are conducted during the last 15 minutes of each class and is on a volunteer (no pressure) basis.
